Meet The Doctor
The Summit Dental team is friendly, outgoing, caring, charismatic, intelligent and intuitive. They have a keen understanding of our patients' needs, which allows them to provide outstanding care with the utmost attention to detail.
Dr. Erik Marksberry
Dr Erik Marksberry attended the University of Iowa. In 1995 he graduated with a B.S. in Biology, and in 1999 he graduated from Iowa’s dental school. Afterwards, Dr. Marksberry worked in several clinics in Wisconsin before moving here in the summer of 2003.
Dr. Marksberry attends several continuing education seminars each year, with a special emphasis on oral surgery, dental implants, and sedation dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. But of course, Dr. Marksberry realizes that no amount of technology can take the place of a caring dentist who strives to make each and every appointment a comfortable experience for their patients.
In his free time, he enjoys golf, sporting events, wine, and has even had the chance to do a little race car driving. Dr. Marksberry is an avid reader and writes extensively as well, producing everything from short stories to newspaper editorials.
